We build AI for the work
piling up on your team.

Ten years building software and leading engineering teams taught us one thing above everything else: the tedious stuff bogs people down. And when people are bogged down, they can't do incredible work. We build AI systems that remove those barriers. Every one designed around how your business actually runs, not how a template assumes it does.

The hard part is rarely the build. It's getting people to trust it.

Ten years in software engineering and management, including leading AI roadmap work at The Washington Post, taught me that lesson firsthand. I've been building conversational systems since 2016, starting with rule-based chatbots long before there were real NLP tools to reach for. From there I moved into actual NLP and ML as the technology caught up to what I wanted to build.

What drives me is an obsession with process: finding where a system is quietly broken and making the problem disappear, not just documenting it. If your team is losing real time to something AI should be handling, let's talk honestly about the solution.

— Angelina Rock

Every system is built around how your business actually operates. Not adapted from a template, not the same thing we built for someone else. The six examples below are the most common starting points. If what's slowing your team down isn't here, that doesn't mean we can't help. It just means we figure it out together.

Customer onboarding

A CS team manually writing five emails per new customer is manageable at 20 clients a month. At 60, it's all they do. We build onboarding systems that read each customer's profile and generate the right sequence automatically. So your CS team can do actual customer success work.

Ops reporting

One person, five browser tabs, a slide deck, and a Monday morning that starts late. We replace that with a workflow that pulls from every relevant tool and delivers a plain-English briefing to your Slack before anyone opens their laptop. Nobody builds the deck anymore.

Support triage

The first two hours of every support team's day shouldn't go to sorting and categorizing. We build triage systems that read each ticket the moment it arrives, classify intent and urgency, draft a suggested response, and route it to the right queue. The team resolves. It doesn't triage.

Sales call intelligence

Five minutes after a call ends, your rep has a summary, a clear picture of what the prospect actually cared about, the objections they raised, and a follow-up email that references the specific conversation. No notes required.

Proposal generation

Your reps fill in a short form after a discovery call. A personalized, properly formatted proposal arrives in minutes. Three hours of writing becomes fifteen minutes of editing.

PE portfolio ops

For PE-backed companies under pressure to show EBITDA improvement before exit: we identify where manual process is eating into margin and build AI systems that recover it. A well-executed program can recover 15-25% of operational overhead within a quarter. That's the kind of number that shows up in the metrics that matter most before exit.
B2B SaaS companies at Series A or B, typically 20–200 employees, growing faster than your ops layer can keep up with
PE-backed portfolio companies under pressure to improve operational efficiency, reduce overhead, and demonstrate EBITDA improvement before exit
Engineering or ops leaders who understand what AI can do but don't have the bandwidth to build internal workflows themselves
Teams where something is happening manually every day that a well-designed system should be handling instead
Companies that have tried generic automation tools and found they don't fit how the business actually works

Probably not a fit: Pre-revenue startups, anyone looking for a quick tool recommendation, or anyone who needs something built in under three weeks.

Discovery call
30 minutes. We ask a lot of questions and listen carefully. No pitch. We want to understand what's getting in the way before we suggest anything.
02
AI opportunity audit
A short written document within a week. Three specific opportunities, honest ROI estimates, a 90-day plan. If nothing looks promising, we'll say so.
03
Pilot project
One automation, designed, built, tested, and handed off in four weeks. Fixed price. You see results before committing to anything ongoing.
04
Ongoing retainer
If it makes sense. We keep building, maintain what's live, and check in regularly. Always your choice.
01

It's yours.
Fully.

No lock-in. No dependency.

Everything we build belongs to you. The code, the workflows, the logic, the documentation. When the engagement ends, you walk away with a system you own and a team that knows how to run it. There's no proprietary platform you're dependent on, no "you can only access this through us."

We use best-in-class tools that are well-documented and widely supported. The goal is that six months from now, your team could maintain and expand what we built together, with or without us.

02

Your team
learns it too.

Real training, not a PDF.

A system your team doesn't understand is a system your team won't trust. Every engagement includes hands-on training for the people who will actually use and maintain what we build. Not a video walkthrough recorded once and forgotten. Real sessions with real questions.

By the time we're done, your team knows what the system does, why it works the way it does, and what to do when something unexpected happens. We write the documentation too, clear enough that someone new to the team could pick it up.

03

Data security
is not a checkbox.

SOC 2 baseline. Always.

Every system we build is designed with data minimization in mind: the AI only sees what it actually needs to do its job. Credentials are stored securely and access is limited to the people who genuinely need it. We use platforms that are SOC 2 Type II certified as a baseline, and we'll tell you plainly if a particular workflow requires additional consideration.

If you operate in a regulated industry (healthcare, finance, legal), we'll be upfront about what that means before we start, not after. Every client gets a clear data processing agreement. If you have specific security requirements, bring them to the first call. We'd rather work within your constraints from day one than retrofit them later.

Let's talk about what's slowing your team down.

We'll ask a lot of questions and listen carefully. By the end we'll tell you honestly whether we think there's something worth exploring. If there is, the next step is a short written audit, specific to your situation, so you have something real to react to before committing to anything.
